1. Overview
Hardened tooth surface reducers mainly consist of parallel shaft series and right-angle shaft series. Parallel shaft reducers are manufactured in accordance with national standard GB19004—88. Optimized in design, they reach the technical level of the 1980s, covering four major series: ZDY (single-stage), ZLY (two-stage), ZSY (three-stage) and ZFY (four-stage). Right-angle shaft reducers are produced to standard JB/T9002—1999, applied for transmission units where the input shaft and output shaft are arranged perpendicularly. They mainly include three series: DBY, DCY and DFY.
2. Performance Features
(1) Key parameters such as centre distance and nominal reduction ratio are optimized. Major spare parts feature good interchangeability.
(2) Gears are made of alloy steel through carburizing and quenching. The tooth surface hardness reaches HRC54–62.
(3) Compact size, light weight, high precision, large load capacity, high efficiency, long service life, stable transmission and low noise.
(4) Oil sump lubrication and natural cooling are adopted as standard. When the thermal power capacity is insufficient, circulating oil lubrication, fan cooling or cooling coil cooling can be used.
3. Application Scope
(1) General input speed n ≤ 1500 r/min.
(2) The peripheral speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20 m/s.
(3) Operating ambient temperature: -40℃ ~ 50℃. If the temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil shall be preheated above 0℃ before startup. The reducer supports forward and reverse rotation.
(4) Widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical industry, building materials, hoisting, conveying, textile, papermaking, instrumentation, plastics, rubber, construction machinery, energy and other industrial sectors.
