Operating Requirements

1. Storage: Do not store for an excessively long time. If the storage period exceeds 3–6 months and the oil seal is not immersed in lubricating oil, users are recommended to replace the oil seal.

2. Working environment: Follow the reducer operation manual. The standard ambient temperature ranges from -5℃ to +40℃. Contact the manufacturer if the temperature exceeds this rated range.

3. Installation notes: The worm gear reducer must be firmly mounted on the machine without looseness. Verify the correct rotation direction before proceeding with the rest of the installation.

4. Protection devices: After installation, check the lubricant oil level before startup. Do not apply full load immediately; increase the load gradually. It is recommended to install protective devices around the worm gear reducer.

5. Ventilation: The reducer is usually matched with gear motors or electric motors. A ventilation device must be fitted to improve heat dissipation and ensure normal operation.
